To be an IPS officer, a candidate will have to appear in civil services exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission. This exam is generally conducted in three stages, the first stage is Preliminary exam, second stage is main exam and the third stage is interview. Anyone who has completed 21 years of age can apply for IPS exam. The types of questions asked during the interview are as follows-
